raid attendance

hello all, as some of you know i dont like posting on forums, i do try to keep up with them however. this thread is to address a problem i am forsee'ing-
our mod we use to schedule for raids -group calender- is how we do invites, as of late people signing up early has been slacking, we took a week off to give people a much needed break imo. but would like to come back this next week as strong as ever if not beter to do so heres what we need to happen, we need EVERYONE who is planning on attending a raid on the specified night to please sign up to do so ahead of time if you want a spot. you may have no idea how much easier it makes it for people to sign up ahead of time and be at the instance ready to go at the set time. which is required for the on-time dkp bonus. if we could all do this it would make things much easier on the read leaders/officers in making invites fair for everyone. and imo make raids start earlier thus accoplishing more. it takes all of 5 seconds to sign up so please do so. thank you for taking the time to read this

I would like to start raiding more. However, I have one problem. That is work. Sunday night and week night raids are hard for me to attend. I would like to propose that we as a guild should try a Friday or Saturday night raid to see if this brings more to the raids.

Possibly that if raids are to continue on Sunday, then maybe do a few raids earlier in the day for us folk that have to get up early the next day.

that sounds like a good idea, i think a lot of people would be willing to do it, the one problem would probably be finding someone to lead those raids

The nice thing about MC ... most of us have done MC several times so just about anyone can lead the raid. I can help. I have purchased a wonderful book, "World of Warcraft Dungeon Companion." A fantastic book on any Raid / Dungeon crawl and how to beet each mob. Covers all dungeons at this time. As for a raid leader Pleasuremesh, HotGranny, Ranna ... there is lots who have done these raids. Even you Haephestus!

oh, i totally agree, working MC in on that day might be pushing it to get enough there was my thinking, believe me, i think we have plenty of ppl capable of leading raids there, i more thought u were thinking of zg/aq20 on a weekend

I've signed up evertime when i raid on the raid calendar but i still usually end up having to pm Cowl or Haeph for an invite...
