I'm going to try and make at least one post a week to keep everyone updated as to whats in store, where we're headed as well as issues that have cropped up.
First on the list is MC. We will be running MC on Wednesdays and Sundays now. The Wednesday night raid will down Luci and Mag. The Sunday Raid will progress as far as we can.
Following the Wednesday night MC raid, we will run Ony, numbers permitting.
ZG is pretty much a fait acomplie. We downed Hakkar on the first shot last time, and I really expect that trend to continue. We will be changing the ZG raid nights dependent on the reset night. What that means is that we may run ZG on Mon-Tue, Tue-Thurs, or Thur-Fri. Either way, we expect to fully clear ZG at least once a week.
Extra DKP: We will be working on getting our other MTs a trinket from the Gurubashi arena. As such, at 6:00 on the night before ZG anyone lvl 40 and up that comes to the Gurubashi arena will earn 10 dkp for about a 5 minute fight. The other items in the chest will be /randomed for (there are some decent drops in that chest.) You must however be in the arena at least 2 minutes BEFORE 6:00 so we can add you to the raid. It can actually be a fun fight, depending on who shows up.
PUG raids: This has become more and more common lately. Several guilds have been running pug MC raids, ony raids and zg raids. While we don't have rules specifically permitting people from going to these raids, it is severely frowned upon. As a member of our guild, your first loyalty should be to our guild. That means coming to OUR MC raid. We have done very well in MC in the 5-6 runs that we've attempted. We went from downing luci, to doing 4-6 bosses per run. MOving luci and mag to Wed should help that, as the only reason we've stopped progressing on Sunday nights was due to the late hour (and the STUPID long time dkp took, an issue we also fixed).
Having said all this, if we all work together, show up to raids, we'll all get loot. We'll progress together. Pugging scholo, strat, ubrs.. that stuff is fine. Pugging ZG because you didn't get into our ZG raid is also understandable. Not coming to MC because you wanted to go with someone else means you need to change guilds. Our raids are not mandatory, they will never be mandatory. I've said before, this is a guild "For people with lives." If however you have the time to run MC with someone else, you have time to run with us. There is of course one exception to this, Alts.
Cowl, has 5,389 alts. (Slight exageration, but the guy is good.) If he decided to run MC with an alt in a pug on a non-raid night, good for him. His Main will be @ MC on Sunday. By saving your main character to another guilds raid, you hurt our guild. We don't have need for people who hurt our guild.
If anyone has a special situation, feel free to contact me, like anything else, exceptions can be made under the right circumstances, but they'd have to be very SPECIAL circumstances.
The guild is also offering DKP for specific herbs, and no KindBud is not one of the herbs we're looking for. (Although if you live in Massachusetts we might be able to work something... NVM) Please speak with Pleasuremesh as he can tell you what herbs we are looking for, as well as their DKP reward for turn in.
Thats all for now, as always, whisper me or mail me with questions.
