I was wondering my hunter’s profession is LW so as to make gear for himself much like my lock did with shadow tailoring. But my question is what tree to take from the LW profession: Dragonscale, Elemental or Tribal? As of right now he’s going to end up being a MM hunter with this build: www.wowhead.com/?talent=mx0G0xZVVbREzMeot0h if that makes any difference. P.S. - This is a whole new class to me so forgive me if something is very blatant and I don't see it.

it used to be take dragonscale for teh huntars, but im not really sure how the LW itemization works up through lvl70, your best bet would be to ask cowl in game or direct him to this thread i think

You most likely will want to go with Dragonscale LW, since the BoP items you can make with it at the end are nice mail items. (The end BoP items for tribal and elemental are leather items.) You can check out what you can make here wow.allakhazam.com/db/skill.html?line=165. Scroll down to the "Ebon Netherscale" items.

I'm currently lvl 15 or 16 I forget. Will leveling with BM rather than MM make my progress that much faster and less stressful? And how important are the 2 talents "Barrage and Imp Barrage"? Since I'll be mostly 1v1 grinding and instancing I'm not so sure of their importance. P.S. - My work blocks WoWs site (lol) so could you post you build via wow head here for me?

I leveled as MM and survival myself. But BM is supposed to be nice, like demonology for a warlock. Having a more powerful pet to tank two mobs at once (vs dying halfway through) is very handy. If you expect to do a bunch of 3 mobs pulls, Barrage and Imp Barrage are good for a lot of extra damage. Soloing/grinding it isn't so useful; it's kinda nifty in pvp though to put more hurt on their front lines. I find the survival tree is very useful (if not almost necessary) in instances and raids. It has a lot of good stuff for traps, FD, +hit, and such. Here is my current build: www.wowhead.com/?talent=VZVAboVzhxoZIh0GosRhVI'm kinda spread between the two trees so I could have TSA and the additional agility (mostly for the crit %) of Lightning Reflexes. I try not to melee, so I did not take most of the melee talents in the survival tree.

Although I did use the Fel Guard to level up. And those dragonscale epics do look sick just no agi weird... Also is your icon from "Princess Mononoke"?

Pets have been normalized so there is no longer a point to get an elite pet vs a regular.

They probably did not put agility on the gear so that either a hunter or a shaman could wear it, without it being biased towards the hunters.
