OK so some of you are new to the raid group and so I thought I'd pass along some advice on how to get ready for a raid from some of the more seasoned adventurers out there. I polled some of our players and here's what they do....
Lorensoth - now Loren is old and I mean really old like 34 or something. SO before a raid he pumps himself up by turning up the heavy metal hits of the 80's. He has every monster metal compilation CD ever put out and he jams to Round and Round by RATT, and Judas Priest's "Breakin the Law" The funny thing is Loren looks like Kip Winger (including the mullet) but he sings like Colin Meloy. Deep down inside Loren is a Debbie Gibson fan...
Cowl - Have you ever heard this guy speak? Cowl is a certifiable genius. The man can quote Shakespeare in English and its original Klingon and is a card carrying member of Mensa. How does Cowl get geared up for a raid? He listens to NPR...
Sayomara - now Sayo likes the classics - Beethoven, Bach, Chopin. He tends to time his fireballs to the crescendos of the 1812 overture, but quickly changes tracks over to Pathetique whenever he dies. He secretly wants to be a motorcycle stunt driver and hates taking out the trash.
Foundy - not much is know about this mysterious individual and the government wants to keep it that way. Playing from a different secret location every night, foundy plays no music, has no windows, see no one. he is the dark, the shadows, the night...
Taindy - chugs two cans of redbull before each boss fight - no one can outmatch his healing! Though thankfully we only raid every other night, he crashes more often than his internet connection.
SO there you have it true believers, just a few ways that you too can get prepared to raid; the Exiled way...
