For those that weren't on last night, we downed our first Karazhan boss. It took us a little while, but eventually we got the strat down and started collecting our phat lewtz. Its a good thing in many ways, but first and foremost it means we're getting better. Getting better means we aren't wasting our time. It also means by the time we get a second run going, it should be significantly easier.
That was the good news. There is however a little bad. Some people got offended that they were left out of the raid last night. They rather unceremoniously left the guild. While I wish them well in whatever they do, I find this action childish. If you have a problem, speak with me. Mail me, whisper me, poke a stick at me. I will try to do what I can to make your stay here as much fun as possible. We have 10 spots in a raid that we have not been able to conquer yet, and prior to last night, we hadn't downed a boss. Last night we tried a few new players as we said we would. Last night we brought a couple of different classes as well as a couple of different specs. This shouldn't be a surprise as I said this would happen.
A year ago, I'd be rather upset about the whole thing, but I have come to understand this is just what happens once you hit endgame raiding. People come, people go, all you can do is stick with it. So, for those of you still working towards attunement, keep it up. For those of you who didn't get in last night, there will be spots in other raids for you. Keep helping your guildies with their attunement. The faster they get attuned, the faster we get our second raid running. Keep running instances, Saturday night I saw at least 4 instances going at the same time. This is what being in a guild is about.
Before I sign off, I DO NOT WANT ANYONE BASHING THOSE THAT LEFT. I hope thats clear enough. People come, people go. When they leave, wish them well, and move on.
